I’m not going to get into the ‘nitty gritty’ of the logistics and sciences behind my services. It won’t make good reading and you might well switch off and go elsewhere if I did. Suffice it to say that with a £30,000 machine and a brilliant mineral based main cleaning solution, this service is something that will impress you. I have to use a very small amount of chemical based solvent in order to remove stains such as boot polish, or gloss paint or ‘blu-tac’ etc, but in the main part the cleaning solution delivered at the head of the main carpet cleaning ‘wand’ or the upholstery tool etc consists of softened water (very hot) and my mineral based detergent.

Carpet Cleaning

Simply put, the quality I offer is unbeatable. The machine I use is built for speed, and as such I can clean carpets 3-4 times quicker than a competitor with a conventional ‘portable’ machine. Due to the enormous suction that the machine creates, the cleaning solution and dirt is sucked out of the carpet at great knots and therefore the carpets dry quickly. Typically they will be dry in 2-3 hours.

  I need neither your electricity nor your water, I have my own diesel power and my own holy water. You don’t need to move the furniture as I will do that for you, and replace it back to where it came from. Before I start cleaning your carpets, you will have been advised on what I expect the results to be. Often though, stains will be removed where I had originally advised that they would not. I can’t always get that right, but I will always advise you where I think that there will be problematic stains, whether I think they will remove easily or not.

  You may wish to see the colour of the water that I remove from your carpets. I’m happy to show you if you ask me. You will be surprised/shocked at what you see/smell though. Often the water is black and smells of fermenting, even from the cleanest of houses. 85% of the dirt in a carpet is at the base of the pile. It consists of dirt, dust, grit, anything exfoliated from a person or a pet, and it is not removable with a vacuum cleaner. Proper and regular carpet cleaning will maintain the length of the carpet’s life and it will keep your home healthy. That’s the way it is.

Upholstery Cleaning

Sofas, armchairs, dining chairs and pouffes are all very cleanable, and this should be considered before it’s too late and not just when you suddenly have a spill or stain on them. A recent purchase of a £550 upholstery cleaning head has helped me to deliver an upholstery cleaning service that you will love and be impressed by.

  Again, the diesel powered machine (it stays outside your house by the way) is used, and again there is no other machine anywhere near being as powerful or impressive. I’m happy to visit your home to advise on the cleaning of your upholstery, to give you a quote if you want one and to give you all the help you would need to make a decision on whether to proceed or not. Don’t be tempted to clean your own upholstery though, unless you don’t mind making them worse. Let me advise you on any stains and/or spills you make have. Let’s do it properly. Drying times do vary from sofa to sofa, but invariably they will dry in a few short hours. I have some clients that have their sofas cleaned every year in order to maintain them properly. This is not unusual and helps to give your upholstery a long life.

Leather Upholstery Cleaning

Modern techniques are applied in order to get your leather upholstery looking as near to brand-new looking as possible. No machinery is used. In the photo you can see a brilliant transformation of a white leather armchair. No camera trickery has been used. The customer was very pleased with the results. I’ve since been back to their house to carry out other work and to clean the main leather sofa. A delighted client indeed!

Rug Cleaning

Rugs tend to have long and deep piles. Lots of dirt, dust and germs etc collect at the base of the pile. In order to keep them lasting for a long time and to maintain their beauty, get them cleaned! I’m happy to clean them at your property, and better still I’m happy to take them away and really go to town on getting to the very cleanest possible position. You’ll be amazed at the difference in your rugs once they’re cleaned. Often the colours are so rejuvenated that the rug shines. My clients like this service and I spend a lot of my time doing it. Drying times do tend to be lengthy due to the density of the pile. This is a good reason to ask me to take them away.
